Freshly designed in a timeless, modern style, all of The Norton's newly renovated apartments are full of light, while north-facing suites on the second and third floors feature spectacular views of the North Shore Mountains. Neighbourhood
The Norton has such a great location. It sits in the heart of Mt Pleasant, two blocks off Main St, one block off E Broadway and across the street from the coolest park in Vancouver. This ideal location scores an almost perfect 98 Walk Score and impressive 94 Bike Score, meaning you're close to pretty much everything you need to be in order to live a good life.
A big reason for this is Main Street, known as much for its hip factor as for its diversity and down-to-earth accessibility. It's best summed up by Scout Magazine as a strip that "boasts beautiful parks both small and large, a dizzying variety of retail shops (many of them used/vintage), a handful of art galleries, a torrent of new breweries, good record stores, a litter of interesting independent restaurants that run the cuisine gamut (including 24-hr fried chicken), quality cafes/hangouts, legendary live music venues, bingo games, a happening legion, and even a farmer’s market."
In fact The Norton is just a block from the Mt. Pleasant farmers market. From 10 am to 2 pm on Sundays, early June to early October, amble over to pick up a coffee and some flowers, stock up on freshly picked fruits and vegetables, or just chill with the community.
The Norton is also just steps from public transit, be it the buses running east-west along Broadway or north-south along Main to the Canada Line six blocks west at Cambie that runs from Vancouver International Airport to the downtown waterfront. Cyclists also have many, mostly flat, designated cycling routes to choose from.
